This charming farmhouse sits in the heart of a pretty hamlet around five minutes from the village of Lathus on the edge of the Vienne / Haute Vienne border and around 10 minutes drive from the pretty riverside town of Montmorillon.

The property has been tastefully renovated by the current owners and it's retained its original charm with lovely old fireplaces and terracotta floor tiles throughout most of the ground floor. You enter into the large living/dining room (45m2) with a fitted corner kitchen. At the far end of this room, a small hallway leads to two large bedrooms (20 and 25m2) - one of which has a very pretty stone fireplace. A door from the rear of the living room leads to a small carpeted "salon" (20m2) which has access to the bathroom and wc and the stairs to the first floor. The land that comes with the house is around 400m2, of which around 200m2 is garden to the front and side of the house, and the rest of which is used for an access lane, or covered by the numerous small outbuildings, which include a cellar, old pig-sheds and the bread oven.
